At the bottom of this page, on the left, are links to downloadable (pdf) information leaflets and booklets. These have been written by the National Screening Committee for people with Diabetes. Primary Care Diabetes Teams are also welcome to download and distribute them.

Not everyone with Diabetes will get eye problems. Having a digital photograph taken every year can diagnose problems before vision is affected.

Treatment can prevent partial or complete loss of vision. If vision is already affected, treatment can stop things getting worse.
